About Us
UrbAnatomy Lab is a think tank and consulting practice focused on providing urban planning and design solutions to some of the most critical urban development issues being experienced today, particularly in India and the Global South. These involve building resilience amongst communities and institutions against the threats of Climate Change, and minimising the severity of its impact in cities.
Adaptation and mitigation measures also include decarbonising transportation and urban mobility; disaster risk management; restoration of natural resources; placemaking; community outreach; and advocacy and urban messaging around these issues.
Through our design-test-iterate approach, we strive to make cities more inclusive, livable, healthy and happier. Our multidisciplinary team of specialists tests solutions on-ground, and empowers communities as co-designers in the process. We continuously strive to optimise design, efficiency and sustainability to create thriving urban systems that are sustainable for both, people and the planet.
Services
Our services include design and communication at varied scales, such as strategic plans, masterplans, Nature Based Solutions, Walking and Cycling Audits, GHG calculations, project feasibility studies, data analysis, data visualisation, urban infographics and renderings, technical report writing, designing innovative community engagement, placemaking, as well as architectural interior projects.
